ABOUT US
Established in 1983, the Peggy's Cove Preservation Society was created to preserve and enhance the historic and cultural heritage of beautiful Peggy's Cove in Halifax County, Nova Scotia as a living and working fishing community.
Membership is open to residents and property owner's within Peggy's Cove.
Some of the community projects we have undertaken include:

Repaired the breakwater to protect the fishing area

Encourage and organize community events/meetings

Design & maintain community gardens

Providing community feedback for studies/proposals that affect our village
Peggy's Cove is in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. The people of the Mi’kmaw Nation have lived on this territory for millennia, and we acknowledge them as the past, present and future caretakers of this land.
